The San Diego Elite Baseball League (SDEBL)
is an ideal home for traveling youth
baseball team or club baseball team. Playing
venues are located in Central, East and
Northern San Diego County. League play is
offered in three divisions - 18-Under Elite,
Academy Division and 16-Under. The Academy
Division is open to teams that have players
with high school eligibility.
The
SDEBL was founded in 1999, previously known
as the San Diego County Palomino League.
Originally the league played at the El Toyon
Youth Baseball Facility in National City,
CA, and was affiliated with Pony Baseball
(Colt and Palomino Divisions), American
Amateur Baseball Congress (AABC), and the
United States Amateur Baseball Federation
(USABF). In 2007 the SDEBL grew to 33 teams
from communities throughout San Diego
County.
In 2008 the SDEBL adds two new affiliates -
National Amateur Baseball Federation
(NABF) and Continental Amateur Baseball
Association (CABA) - bringing its total of
affiliates to five. Every team entered in
the SDEBL has a chance to participate
in tournaments offered by any of the five
affiliates in each affiliate's
National Championship or World Series. |
